Tuesday 22nd June- Frontignan, France
…to go to school to have my fourth-to-last day as an assistante d’anglais only to find out that it is in fact my third-to-last day because France will be on strike on Thursday. I also had one of my schools cancel classes for next Tuesday, so Friday is my last day with them. Ever.

The only good thing that happened today was that I discovered that my CAF file has been processed and that I can expect a generous sum of...
Tuesday 8th June- Frontignan, France
…to spend the day at school and come to the realisation that I only have ten more working days left in France. Then I will no longer be a teacher but just another unemployed university graduate. Yay?
Monday 7th June- Montpellier, France
…to go to the CAF office and continue my struggle against French bureaucracy. I am entitled to a reasonably large sum of money (which I am depending on for my upcoming trip to Italy) and they are not being forthcoming. Finally being allowed to speak to a teller person literally took all afternoon. All afternoon waiting in various queues to spend five...
