Thursday 8th September
…to write like the wind.
Trying to get my research proposal finished as my friend Bree is in CHCH for the weekend and I would rather be spending time with her than writing about active audience theory.

Tuesday 6th September
…to enjoy my morning lecture.
Our lecturer was really quite ill and was all hopped up of medication. It made for a fairly hilarious lecture.
I really felt for her in the second half though, I thought she might pass out and/or vomit everywhere. Then what would we have done?
Monday 5th September
…to start lectures again.
I never did catch up on my readings during the break.
Sunday 4th September
…to work and wish that I wasn’t.

Saturday 3rd September
…to go bowling!
Went with the old flatties. Surprisingly I came second 2/3 games! I even got a strike or two.
Perhaps the best part of the night came when Kim and I playing air hockey and sent the puck flying across the arcade to hit Chris in the head. Total accident.
Friday 2nd September
…to have everything fall through.
Been trying to plan a get together for a bunch of friends all week. Alas, we are all too busy and complicated to make it work.

…to attempt to fill the void.
I’m already missing Pretty Little Liars. I’m giving ‘The Lying Game’, ‘Secret Life of the American Teenager’ and ‘Awkward’ a go.
I would recommend Awkward above the others. Fairly predictable, but with some tight writing so set it apart from the pack.

…to take a stab at my research proposal.
It’s not really happening for me at the moment. I have a very basic outline but I’m finding it difficult to pull myself together and get it properly underway.
Monday 29th August
…to visit my friend.
He’s moving to Australia with his girlfriend! They’re sick of Quake-town, which is fair enough. If I didn’t feel so tied to Uni here, I’d be trying to get out of here as well.
I think they’re planning to get away after Christmas.
I wonder how many friends I will have left in town by then.

I have so much Uni work to catch up on. I’m not even sure if it’s physically possible to read this many journal articles.
I keep forgetting about that research proposal that’s due first week of term as well.
