…to have lunch with Anais!
I’ve been neglecting her due to essay related life upheavals. She is moving to France in less than a month to take up a position teaching English to primary school kids (same program that I did last year). We meet at the library cafe and had a delicious lunch.
She grilled me on my lesson plans and for other general French-living advice.
I think she’ll be fine. Moving halfway around the world is a terrifying prospect, but she’s half French, has family very close to where she’ll be living and has spent a lot of time in France and already has accommodation sorted out.
I will miss her a lot when she goes, but I know first-hand what a fantastic time she will have.
